Our Story
Whole Travel Foundation spun off from Whole Travel in Summer/Fall 2008 when the team realized that we needed a non-profit to form a community around sustainable travel and help hotel owners and tour operators in their quests to be more environmentally and socially responsible. We worked with a number of travel providers who were excited about Whole Ranking (Whole Travel's sustainability ranking system) and wanted help improving their sustainability programs. We've created Whole Travel Foundation to do just that.
